As the semester comes to a close, we wanted to honor all of our seniors who were the first founders of the HYPE Team!
A few seniors share about their memorable experiences:
Jack Murphy (Event Marketing Specialist):
What is your favorite memory from HYPE?
I loved our team retreat during winter 2019. It was so cool being some of the only people on campus, and I feel like I was able to get to know my colleagues on a more personal level. Overall, I think it definitely helped us grow as a team and make us communicate and work more effectively together.
What is something important you have learned that you will take with you after you graduate?
Learning how to collaborate with a team involving diverse backgrounds and skill sets can be as rewarding as it is important. Everyone has something they can bring to the table to help the team in a major way, and learning to play off of these unique attributes and talents is something which can be crucial in working effectively as a team.
Zyanna Ratansi (Digital Content Specialist):
What is your favorite memory from HYPE?
My favorite memory from HYPE was getting to know everyone during the time of retreat. Another one of my favorite memories is when Titus beat Megan (winner for 2 semesters prior) at Wall Trivia.
What is something important you have learned that you will take with you after you graduate?
Throughout working for HYPE, I have learned the importance of communicating with teams and individuals on different teams. Everyone has different working styles and you have to adapt to it. I have also been able to grow creatively from taking pictures to constantly updating the Bentley SPEak website.
