Camp Bentley Recap

Every year, the first weekend at Bentley is jammed packed with tons of events and new faces. As new students flood campus and returning students settle in, Bentley’s first weekend is unique. This year, Bentley University transformed into Camp Bentley! The weekend helped build new friendships, strengthen our community, and foster new experiences for students.

WATCH:

SUMMERFEST

WinterFest was great and it was time to enjoy Bentley’s beautiful green campus with the all-new SummerFest and innovative Student Center!

The main attractions of the night were Zip-lining and Rock Climbing, along with food trucks, giveaways, and acoustic performances. Once the students got to the top of the wall, they had to ring a bell, which was cheered by anxious spectators watching below. Those activities could sure work up an appetite, so we were lucky to have good food waiting around, in the various food trucks. Didn’t feel like being quite so active? There were still other games around the event like bean bag tosses, where students could just come and enjoy a stress free zone while building bonds with the rest of the Bentley community- making the whole event a great end to Camp Bentley.

TNT Glow Casino

The TNT Glow Casino event gave students the opportunity to try their luck at a variety of classic casino games – with a twist! A variety of glow sticks and light up tables brought a unique flair to one of Bentley’s most popular events.

If you weren’t too sure how to tackle the tables, fellow Bentley students were dressed in black and white as professional dealers to guide those unfamiliar with certain games. After a night of accomplishment, students beamed as they walked up to the prize table to cash in their raffle tickets for a chance to win big, with all eyes on the giant beanbag up for grabs. Find out what great raffle prizes you could win at the next Casino Night event!

BACK2BENTLEY

The Back2Bentley concert tradition lived up to its expectations as Sammy Adams and Waka Flocka Flame lit up the Dana Center with their performances last week. They created a night to remember for the Bentley community. Think of it like an electric, dynamic, loud camp concert. Watch the SP&E video to get a peek back into the night!
