Black Lives Matter.

The Student Programs & Engagement team will put that statement into action through this Social Justice Action Plan.

Student Center Guidelines and Expectations

  • Masks or face coverings must be worn at all times in the Student Center, unless actively eating or drinking or when alone inside a meeting room with the door closed.

  • Eating is limited to the following locations: the 921, Harry’s, the Café, and the Living Room. Until the ease-in period ends, students are reminded that all dining continues to be take-out only.

  • Guests should resume wearing a face covering once finished eating, and in between the occasional snacking or sipping of a beverage.

  • Capacities for meeting rooms and event spaces are limited to allow for social distancing. New capacities are posted outside each space and must be adhered to at all times.

  • When two or more people are present in a meeting room, all occupants must wear a face covering, regardless of family unit or relationship of the occupants.

  • Do not move chairs or tables. Furniture has been properly configured to ensure social distancing.

  • Make sure to wipe down tables and surfaces using the provided cleaning wipes before and after each use.

As a reminder, examples of behavior that Endanger Health & Safety include, but are not limited to:

  • Not wearing a mask/face covering

  • Not following building entry, exit, and directional instructions

  • Not properly physically distancing

  • Not following quarantine and/or isolation protocol

  • Not complying with weekly Covid-19 testing on assigned day and time

  • Not complying with contact tracing protocol

  • Having too many people in a room (over-occupancy)

  • Engaging in off-campus behavior that endangers health and safety
